Day 1: Arrival in Lima

You'll be greeted at the Lima airport and transferred to your hotel to settle in. Enjoy this first day to rest and soak in the atmosphere of the Peruvian capital.

Day 2: Lima – Paracas

After breakfast, you'll join your French-speaking guide to explore the "City of Kings." The tour includes the Main Square (Plaza de Armas), the Government Palace, the Cathedral, and the San Francisco Monastery with its famous catacombs. You'll then discover the modern district of Miraflores, facing the Pacific Ocean. In the afternoon, you'll be transferred to the bus terminal to travel to Paracas (a 3.5-hour journey). Upon arrival, you'll check in to your hotel and have free time for a walk along the seafront and dinner.

Day 3: Paracas – Ballestas Islands – Nazca

In the morning, you'll board a boat for an excursion to the Ballestas Islands. Along the way, you'll see the mysterious Candelabra geoglyph carved into the sand. The islands are home to impressive marine wildlife, including thousands of sea lions and a wide variety of seabirds. Back on land, you'll head to Nazca with your guide. On the way, you'll stop at a Pisco winery for a tasting, have lunch in Ica, and make a stop at the Huacachina Oasis. Arrival in Nazca is scheduled for the end of the day.

Day 4: Nazca Lines – Arequipa

In the morning, you'll have the option to take a flight over the famous Nazca Lines (optional). You can admire gigantic figures from the air, such as the spider or the hummingbird. If you don't take the flight, you'll have a free morning. In the late morning, you will visit the pre-Columbian cemetery of Chauchilla, which preserves mummies more than a thousand years old. In the afternoon, you'll be transferred to the bus station to take a first-class bus to Arequipa. Arrival is at midnight, followed by a transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: Arequipa City Tour – Sillar Route

After breakfast, a city tour will take you through the splendors of the "White City." You will discover the Main Square, the colonial center, the Church of the Society of Jesus, and the Yanahuara viewpoint for a panoramic view of the surrounding volcanoes. The tour will end at the Santa Catalina Convent. The afternoon is free for you to rest. As an optional activity, you can visit the Sillar Route, a volcanic stone quarry, to learn more about its role in local architecture.

Day 6: Flight Arequipa – Cusco and City Tour

In the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Cusco, the heart of the ancient Inca Empire. After your arrival and check-in at the hotel, the afternoon will be dedicated to a guided city tour. You will discover the main square, the famous Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), and the authentic atmosphere of the San Pedro market. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and acclimate to the altitude.

Day 7: Sacred Valley (Chinchero, Maras Salt Ponds, Moray, Ollantaytambo)

You'll depart in a private vehicle with your guide to explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You'll first visit the picturesque village of Chinchero, known for its colonial church and traditional weaving workshops. You will continue to the site of Moray, a unique Inca agricultural laboratory with its circular terraces. After a free lunch, you will descend the valley to the village of Ollantaytambo and its Inca fortress. At the end of the day, you will take the train to Aguas Calientes, the village located at the foot of Machu Picchu, where you will spend the night.

Day 8: Machu Picchu – Limatambo

Early in the morning, you will take a shuttle to the Machu Picchu site. With your guide, you will explore this fascinating Inca city for about 3 hours, enjoying a relative tranquility. After the visit, you will take a shuttle back down to Aguas Calientes for a free lunch. In the afternoon, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo where a driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel in the Limatambo Valley. Dinner will be included at the hotel upon your arrival.

Day 9: Humantay Lake Trek – Return to Cusco

Get ready for a day of trekking! After an early morning departure, you will leave Saraypampa with your guide for a medium/difficult hike to Humantay Lake. After a 1.5-hour climb, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the lake's turquoise waters, surrounded by snowy peaks, particularly Mount Humantay. You will have free time to enjoy the scenery before descending. After an included lunch in Mollepata, you will return to Cusco, where you will arrive at the end of the day.

Day 10: Free Day in Cusco

This day is free to allow you to rest and acclimate before your next trek. You can take the opportunity to explore the areas around the city of Cusco at your own pace, discover new neighborhoods, or simply relax.

Day 11: Palcoyo Mountain and Ananiso Valley Trek - Checacupe

Your adventure begins early in the morning with a private vehicle transfer. On the way, you'll discover the picturesque village of Checacupe with its Inca and colonial bridges. The trek to the summit of Palccoyo mountain (4,950m / 16,240 ft) then begins. After a short hike of about 40 minutes, you will explore the vibrant landscapes and colorful geological formations of this less-trafficked mountain. For hiking enthusiasts, it's possible to extend the visit to the spectacular Ananiso Canyon. After an included lunch at a local restaurant, you will be transferred to your hotel for the night.

Note: It is possible to replace this trek with the famous Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), which is more popular but just as spectacular, requiring a bit more walking (1.5-hour climb) to a viewpoint at 5,100m (16,732 ft) of altitude.

Day 12: Checacupe - Puno

After breakfast, you will depart in a private vehicle for Puno. On the way, you will make several stops for photos and visit the Pukara lithic museum, which highlights a pre-Inca civilization. You will arrive in Puno in the early afternoon and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 13: Lake Titicaca: Uros Floating Islands – Amantani Island

After breakfast, you'll transfer to the port for an excursion on the legendary Lake Titicaca. Your first stop will be the Uros floating islands, which are made of reeds. You will have the opportunity to take a ride on one of their traditional canoes. You'll then continue by boat to Amantani Island, where you will be welcomed by a local family for an overnight stay. Lunch and dinner are included. You will have free time to explore the island and enjoy the magnificent views of the lake.

Day 14: Amantani Island – Taquile Island - Puno

In the morning, you will take a boat to Taquile Island. After a short hike to the village at the summit, a panoramic view awaits you. The people of Taquile are famous for their textile art inherited from the Incas. After an included lunch, you will descend to the port to cross the lake back to Puno. Upon arrival at the port, you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner is on your own.

Note: A one-day visit to the islands (Uros and Taquile) is possible if you do not wish to spend the night with a local family. In that case, you would spend your last night in Lima.

Day 15: Puno – Juliaca Airport – Flight to Lima

According to your flight schedule, after breakfast, you will be transferred in a private vehicle to Juliaca Airport to catch your flight to Lima, where you will connect with your international flight. End of our services.
