📜 History and restoration of Sabandía Mill
The mill operated for nearly three centuries to grind wheat and barley from nearby farms. Abandoned in the early 20th century, it was purchased and restored by the Banco Central Hipotecario in the 1970s, which returned it to its original appearance. Today it is classified as a historic monument and is an integral part of Arequipa's cultural heritage.
