📍 Classic Direction (Lima southwards)
🐬 Step 1: Paracas (1h30 from Lima)
Ballestas Islands and Paracas National Reserve (red beach, fossils). Allow half a day.
➡️ Next: 1h15 drive to Ica / Huacachina.
🏜️ Step 2: Huacachina / Ica
Buggy + sandboarding at sunset (departure 4:00-5:00 PM). One overnight stay is ideal. The next day: Ica vineyards (Pisco tasting) and/or regional museum.
➡️ Next: 2h30 drive to Nazca.
🛕 Step 3: Nazca
Nazca Lines flight (30-40 min flight). Possible in the morning, then return to Lima or continue to Arequipa / Cusco.
🔄 Reverse Direction (Nazca → Huacachina → Paracas → Lima)
The same route works in the opposite direction. Travel times are identical.

Day 1: morning in Paracas (Ballestas at 8:00-10:00 AM), then drive to Ica. Afternoon in Huacachina. Day 2: morning in Ica (museum or wine), possible departure.
