Pucallpa off the beaten track A 5-day circuit offered by Amazon Fishing

Our adventure begins early in the morning with your welcome at Pucallpa airport at 05:30. We'll take the road in a private 4x4 towards the mountains, with a planned stop for you to buy a quick breakfast.

Around noon, we'll have a lunch break at Boquerón de Aguaytia before continuing to the spectacular Alto Shambillo Waterfall where you can bathe in its refreshing waters.

In the late afternoon, we'll resume our journey to the Cacataibo community to settle into our bungalows. You'll have free time to meet community members before dinner and overnight stay.

These two days are fully customizable according to your preferences. Each morning, you'll choose from the following activities:

🎣 River Sport Fishing Option – Exclusively Dorado

• We'll dedicate ourselves to targeted dorado fishing
• Several techniques will be available according to your level: spinning, baitcasting, fly fishing or natural bait
• We'll practice exclusively catch & release fishing to preserve the ecosystem

🥾 Trekking / Forest Exploration Option

• You'll go hiking with a Cacataibo indigenous guide
• We'll observe local flora and fauna, discover medicinal plants and explore the primary jungle
• This immersion will allow you to experience authentic cultural exchange with the community

🔁 Combined Option: Dorado Fishing + Trekking

For those who wish to vary the pleasures, we'll organize a combination of both activities during the day.
All your meals are included and you'll spend your nights in the Cacataibo bungalows.

After breakfast with the community, we'll begin our return to Pucallpa by 4x4. We'll have a lunch break on the road before arriving in the city in the afternoon.

We'll settle you into your hotel in Pucallpa, included in the circuit. Dinner is also included this evening, allowing you to enjoy a final friendly meal. You'll spend the night at the hotel with the next day's breakfast included.

Our last day begins with breakfast at the hotel before heading to Lake Yarinacocha. We'll board a boat for a memorable outing to encounter the pink and gray dolphins that inhabit these waters.

We'll continue with a piranha fishing session in the calm areas of the lake, a typical Amazon experience. Back at the hotel around noon, you'll have free time for lunch before we drive you to Pucallpa airport for your return flight to Lima.
