Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Arrival (usually nighttime) in Lima. Transfer to your hotel in the Callao district in preparation for the morning flight the next day. Check-in and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Lima / Arequipa (2360m)

Transfer to the airport and flight to Arequipa. Welcome and transfer to your hotel. Free day for rest and acclimatization in "the White City" located at the foot of impressive volcanoes, between the Pacific Coast and the Andes.

Day 3: Arequipa - Cultural Visit

Visit with French-speaking guide of the colonial center, Santa Catalina Convent (largest religious building in America) and the Andean Sanctuary housing "Mummy Juanita", an Inca princess offered in sacrifice. Free time to discover the colonial districts of San Lazaro and Yanahuara.

Day 4: Arequipa / Colca Canyon (Pinchollo) – 3400m

Departure by private vehicle with French-speaking guide to Colca Canyon. Spectacular 4h30 route around the Misti volcano, with observation of vicuñas and llamas. Pass through Patapampa Pass offering panoramic views of the Volcanic Cordillera. Arrival in Chivay, thermal baths in volcanic hot spring pools, then continuation to Pinchollo. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Pinchollo / Cruz del Condor / Puno – 3800m

Transfer to Cruz del Condor to observe the majestic flight of Andean condors. Route to Chivay then tourist bus to Puno crossing the Altiplano with its mountain range landscapes, flamingo lakes and pampas populated by llamas. Arrival in Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca and hotel check-in.

Day 6: Puno – Lake Titicaca (« Uros » / Luquina)

Speedboat cruise on the legendary Lake Titicaca. Visit the floating archipelago « Uros » composed of 50 islands where 350 inhabitants live traditionally. Navigation to the Luquina Peninsula to meet local residents, lunch and discover their traditions. Return to Puno in the late afternoon.

Day 7: Puno / Cusco (3350m)

Departure by comfortable tourist bus to Cusco. Route crossing the Altiplano populated by llamas, passing the La Raya Pass and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Buffet lunch included. Visits along the way: Pukara Museum, Inca site of Raqchi and the "Sistine Chapel of the Andes" in Andahuaylilas. Arrival in Cusco, former capital of the Inca Empire.

Day 8: Cusco / Pisac / Cusco

Departure by private vehicle with French-speaking guide to Pisac in the Sacred Valley. Visit the exceptional Inca site through a beautiful hike discovering it surprise by surprise. Free time at the colorful artisan and farmers market. Return to Cusco visiting the Inca ruins of Sacsayhuaman and Tambomachay. Free time to stroll in the most beautiful city in South America.

Day 9: Cusco / Chinchero / Maras-Moray / Ollantaytambo

Visit the Inca-colonial village of Chinchero renowned for its textile tradition. Transfer to the Moray Circles (Inca terraces) and Maras Salt Mines (4000 Inca salt terraces) explored through magnificent walks. Continuation to Ollantaytambo to visit the fortress, remarkable Inca astronomical center. Overnight in Ollantaytambo.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes for an early morning visit to Machu Picchu (supplement)

Day 10: Ollantaytambo / Machu Picchu / Cusco

Train to Aguas Calientes at the foot of Machu Picchu. Morning shuttle to the "lost city of the Incas". Private French-speaking guided tour of the site discovered in 1911 by explorer Hiram Bingham. Free time at the site and in the village. Return by train then private land transfer to Cusco.

Day 11: Cusco - Free Day

Free day to explore at your own pace the archaeological capital of South America. Discover its picturesque alleys, Inca walls and colonial balconies, or enjoy the numerous craft shops and restaurants.

Day 12: Cusco / Puerto Maldonado (Amazon)

Morning flight to Puerto Maldonado in the Amazon. Transfer by motor canoe to the lodge located in the Tambopata Reserve. Bungalow check-in, lunch. First introductory walk to the exceptional biodiversity and visit to a traditional rubber camp. Dinner followed by a nighttime boat ride for a "caiman safari".

Day 13: Lake Sandoval / Campo Castañero

River expedition in the Tambopata-Candamo Reserve. 3km hike through tropical vegetation to Lake Sandoval. Picnic and observation of numerous animal species (birds, monkeys, otters, caimans). Lake exploration by canoe at sunset. Visit to a Brazil nut plantation and canopy tour to observe the forest expanse.

Day 14: Chacra / Machiguenga Community

Navigation to an organic farm (chacra) of traditional products. Encounter with the native Machiguenga community who will share their customs, clothing, dances, music and traditions. Lunch of typical dishes. Return to the lodge and free time to enjoy the pool before dinner.

Day 15: Amazon / Puerto Maldonado / Lima

Final moments in the Amazon before boat transfer to Puerto Maldonado. Flight to Lima and transfer to your hotel in the Miraflores district. Free evening for your final shopping or gastronomic souvenirs.

Day 16: Lima / International Flight

Lima visit with French-speaking guide: coastal archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana, colonial center with Plaza de Armas, and San Francisco Monastery with its catacombs and ancient library. Transfer to the airport for your international flight (arrival 3h before departure).
